A little weather. A big difference.

Ride A Pet mutations can change a pet’s performance. The official description confirms that mutating pets can make them faster. Community guides distinguish weather effects from hatch variants; the table below keeps reported cash and speed multipliers separate.

Weather effects: read both columns

Shocked, Volted and Rage have matching cash and speed readings in the consulted community index notes. Void and Eternal have reported cash readings, but their speed values are not established by the reviewed evidence. An unknown speed multiplier must not be copied from the cash column.

What to do when the weather changes

1. Read the current weather or event label in your game.
2. Check the event’s visible instructions rather than assuming every event uses the same trigger.
3. Inspect the pet card before and after an effect appears.
4. Compare speed and earnings independently.
5. Record the event, pet and any upgrades if you want a meaningful comparison later.

Gold, Diamond and Rainbow hatch variants

Community reporting also discusses Gold, Diamond and Rainbow variants obtained through hatching. These are kept separate from the weather rows. We have not established a complete current multiplier table or a universal stacking formula, so this guide does not calculate a combined “best possible” multiplier.

Why your values may differ

A comparison is only useful when the pet, progression state and value type are comparable. Base speed, displayed speed after an effect and cash generation are different fields. A cropped screenshot that shows cash cannot confirm speed.

Should you wait for a mutation?

Use your current mount to learn routes and complete available objectives. A reported future effect is not a reason to assume a fixed event schedule. Choose a pet you can use now, then compare the actual card if a mutation appears. See the pet selection guide for movement and progression roles.
